Intro to Digital Photography
The following sets of images were all taken for my Introduction to Digital Photography class that was taken during my Fall semester of my Junior Year of college. The class taught me more about how to take images and about photography in general.
Aperture Assignment
The purpose of this assignment was to explore one of the different settings on a camera called Aperture. Aperture deals with depths of field so this assignment explores shallow, medium, and great depths of field.
Shutter Speed Assignment
The purpose of this assignment was to explore another setting on the camera called Shutter Speed. Using different Shutter Speeds can produce different kinds of images like stop motion, blurred motion, and panning.
Color and Composition Assignment
This assignment was meant to combine the use of all of the different settings on the camera and also use various methods of composition and explore different colors in each image.
Still Life Assignment
For this still life assignment, I explored the popular topic of food still life’s.
Landscape Assignment
For this landscape assignment, I took images in multiple locations of Old Forge, New York which is in the Adirondacks.
One Hour Photo Assignment
This was an in class assignment. We were allowed to pick one or two items off of a table at the front of the room. We then had an hour to go around our campus and create an interesting image that included the items that we picked at the beginning of class. The following is my result.
Portrait Assignment
For this portrait assignment, I decided to take images of some of my childhood friends in places that are important to them.
Final Assignment
For this final project, we were allowed to pick the topic as long as it followed the guidelines of being about us. The topic that I decided to pursue in my images was about my brother passing away in 2017.
